On Taking Ideas Further This is a very successful “Work Hard & Be Nice To People” appropriation. It is an illustration that was done by Owen Gatley  ,for the YCN HQ editorials for their Annual, 2010/11. It is a good example of how an idea can be taken further. The artists simply ‘borrowed’ the idea in order to make an illustration of it. There is a  reference to A.B.’s design by using a similar typeface and deliberate choice of ampersand as the title or description, but the text is aligned left. Without the actual words as a description the audience would probably not understand the illustration. It’s a very nice illustration - I like it. A.B. seems to like it too. Agreed?
